ALAIC (Association of Latin American Communication Researchers) and IAMCR signed an agreement in 2007 to reinforce the historical ties that unite the two communities and to promote exchange between the two academic networks in the different areas of communication. This blog is an initiative by a group of researchers who met at the Stockholm IAMCR conference in 2009. It intends to unite the Latin communities of both associations and all those researchers interested in promoting international dialogue in the communication field and the increased presence of Latin American critical thought in that dialogue.
